My heart broke when I found the news of Anna's passing. She was a best friend and confidante when I joined PAL. Transitioning from an All Girl Corps (Royaleer Mounties) to PAL was not an easy thing to do. But I learned from Anna, anything is possible, just keep showing up. I will always remember Anna as funny, smart, and mustering all her courage the first season she got on that podium as Drum Major. The sight of her and her dad singing that song about playing different instruments, violins, etc., or whatever the song at the front of the bus is forever a cherished memory. All my best to the Bell Family. - Love, Rusty
I'll always remember the last time I saw Anna Bell. It was at the reunion in 1994. I got out of my car at Constaters parking lot and she was just arriving, she ran up shouting "Oh my God, Rich, Debbie" with that bundle of energy she always had. In my time in PAL I was privileged to spend a lot of time at the Bell household and got to watch Anna grow and become the wonder-FULL person she was. - Rich Widmeier
